This week's assigment: Build a creative switch using basic electric principles. So first things first: get the basic led circuit up and running using the Arduino Uno as a power source
Next, the idea:
What to turn on? Just a led?
How to activate it? Just by a button?
AN OXYTOCIN MACHINE!
A. The homework is due on The International Peace Day, and Peace begins with a hug...or a simile.
B. Being stressed as we are around this 4th floor, a little bit of happy brain drugs wont hurt nobody
So the how
What to light up? A motor that would open "The Oxytocin machine".
Solution: A motor circuit taken from the Autodesk project library constituted by:
Once the motor was working as planned I substituted the button for two buttons (one for each side of the hug)
Oxytocin DOES NOT work as easy as on / off. One should maintain human contact for at least 10 seconds (and preferably with someone with whom a bond is already shared)
But going back to the 10 second rule. How to make the motor that activates the Oxytocin machine start after 10 seconds of hugging?
After breaking my head, and almost my RAM memory I remembered DELAY!!! The first Arduino lesson I've ever had... and so
And hence, the motor to my future (Oxytocin) machine was born!
Now that I have the engine I should build the machine, so this story remains
